Product costs as shown on this website do not include shipping charges.

Australia Post is our carrier of choice. By default we use regular parcel post but are happy to use express or registered post upon request (an additional charge will be incurred for selecting such).

We have simplified the shipping charges for regular parcel post, to make shopping easier for you.

Parcel Post < 500g:                                           $ 7.00

Parcel Post 500g - <3kg                                  $11.00

Parcel Post 3kg – 5kg                                      $14.00

If an order is particularly heavy or large we may need to contact you to arrange additional charges to cover the cost of shipping. Delivery to regional locations across Australia may incur an additional charge - we do not make a profit on delivery.

Parcels sent by registered mail will incur an additional $2.95 charge. Please select this option at the checkout.  Please note that a signature is required for all deliveries via registered post. 

The final shipping charge will be calculated for you and detailed on checkout. Although we have endeavoured to devise a parcel pricing schedule that is representative of actual charges, these prices are a guide only. In accordance with Australia Post, all parcels are subject to weight and size restrictions. If by chance your combined order does not meet with these restrictions, an additional shipping charge may be incurred.

Upon receipt of your payment, we aim to dispatch your order within three business days (subject to stock availability) to ensure that orders are with customers within 10 working days. This time will vary for international shipping.

The time frames outlined above may vary according to locality of the delivery (in particular those areas classified as rural and remote).  Please note that public holidays or postal strikes may also affect delivery times.

If for any reason a product is out of stock or is a pre-order, we will contact you regarding anticipated delivery time to enable us to complete your order.  You will be given the following options –

(1)   to cancel the out-of-stock item

(2)   to substitute the out-of-stock item with an item of equal or greater value

(3)   to have your in-stock items shipped with a back order created that can be shipped later at your expense.  If the delay will be significant (greater than 30 days), we will offer separate shipping for in-stock items.

(4)   wait for the out-of-stock item/s to arrive in store and have everything shipped together

(5)   cancel the order

Lost or Damaged Goods

If goods are lost or damaged in transit, please contact us at info@beginninggreen.com.au  within 7 working days of placing your order so we can investigate.

Please provide accurate address details when placing an order. If you have provided the incorrect delivery address, charges for the second delivery will be billed to you. Any products which have been damaged from this extended transit time may also require us to charge you for new products of the same variety in the second delivery.

Orders sent via regular post are sent with the customers’ acceptance that this item is not registered and therefore cannot be tracked.  Should any regular post items be lost by Australia Post, Beginning Green is not obligated to provide a refund or replacement.

If you have selected the registered mail option for your parcel and it is deemed ‘lost’ by Australia Post, re-imbursement is offered by Australia Post as per their terms of business. In the rare circumstance that this occurs, please notify us and we will pursue your tracking number and subsequent re-imbursement with Australia Post

Regretfully, Beginning Green is unable to take responsibility for any parcels deemed ‘lost’ by Australia Post.
